JustArts Photography Program is Recruiting Teens for this Spring

Are you a teen who loves to take photographs or wants to learn how to create great images? Apply to the JustArts Photography Program at the Red Hook Community Justice Center. Professional photographers and staff from the Brooklyn Arts Council provide instruction and support to students. All students that successfully complete the program will receive $250, a camera, and a chance to exhibit their work at a public art installation. Applicants must be 14-18 years old, and available to attend programming every Monday and Thursday from 4pm-6pm from April 7 - June 12. Deadline to apply is Friday March 28th! Red Hook Youth Court is Recruiting!

Do you know a high school student interested in law, criminal justice, or making a difference in their community? The Red Hook Youth Court is recruiting now. The Red Hook Youth Court trains young people aged 14-18 years old to serve as jurors, judges and advocates, handling real-life cases involving their peers. The goal of youth court is to use positive peer pressure to ensure that young people who have committed minor offenses learn accountability and repair the harm caused by their actions.
